Killin Village is 35 miles north of Stirling. Turning off the A85 at Lix Toll onto the A827 for 2 miles, you will cross over the famous Falls of Dochart on the bridge into Killin, and see the Tarmachan Hills above with Ben Lawers showing beyond. This is an excellent base for touring, hill-walking, fishing and water activities (Loch Tay is just down the road), golfing, bird and wild-life watching, photography and painting, ... or a perfect place to relax!
The village has a number of licenced premises catering for anything from a snack to a full four-course dinner. There are also local shops supplying groceries, fruit & veg, butchery, bakery, laundry services, ironmongery, outdoor clothing & equipment, etc., etc.
